3 ways to get out of bad mood in less than 5 minutes

Bad mood can ruin your day as well as that of the people around you. When you’re in a negative or ‘bad’ mood, there are simple things you can do to quickly help you feel much more positive.

1.Fake it ’till you make it is one way that people suggest getting out of a bad mood, and by that they mean to put a smile on, even if you don’t feel the corresponding happy emotion that goes with it. It’s possible that faking a smile will actually help boost your mood, and we do recommend trying it, because there’s virtually no down side to it.

2. TAPPING Here’s What Happens When You Tap These Points On Your Body Tapping can get you out of a bad mood in less than 5 minutes. Tapping acupressure points on your body can help you get rid of negative thoughts that may be causing your bad mood. Read about how to tap your body to remove feelings of sadness, anger or anxiety in our article. You can do several rounds of tapping therapy on yourself to get out of a bad mood in less than 5 minutes.

3. GIVE YOURSELF A PEP TALK Positive self-talk can help improve your mood when you are feeling down. Often, there is a negative voice in our heads that is telling us to feel guilty, ashamed, or that replays the setbacks of the day. Maybe you are feeling lonely or rejected. We have to counter that negativity with some serious self-love to get out of a bad mood.
HERE ARE A FEW POSITIVE SELF-TALK PHASES YOU CAN USE:
*I know I can do this because I’ve succeeded at tasks like this before.
*I am intelligent and I believe in my ability to get all of my work done today.
*Today I’m going to be amazing and I won’t let setbacks slow me down.
*I learn from my mistakes and I am going to do so much better the next time.

Know what your doodles and drawing say about your personality

Different patterns that you draw unconsciously while talking to someone on the phone or during a meeting can reveal quite a bit about your personalities and the motives behind your actions. When you doodle, your pen is guided by your subconscious mind, which holds your thoughts and secrets and takes control of your behavior. I want to tell you about the true meanings of the patterns we scribble unconsciously on a daily basis.

Figures of people
If you doodle little people, you probably feel insecure and helpless or try to get away from some of your responsibilities. Drawing simple stick figures indicates that you’re emotionally unstable and feel the need to isolate yourself from other people.

Eyes
Doodles of eyes represent the inner self of the person drawing them. Big eyes show an outgoing personality, staring eyes symbolize the feeling of being watched and closed eyes may indicate a refusal to look inside yourself.

Your signature

Signature doodlers are egocentric and arrogant. Doodling your signature often, without thinking, during a conversation or while trying to solve a problem, reveals a self-centered personality.

Animals
The type of animal you scribble speaks volumes about your current emotions and personality. A tiger or a wolf reveals a hidden unexpressed anger; if it’s a fox — you probably want to do something sly; drawing a squirrel shows that you’re in need of care and protection; lions are usually drawn by those who feel superior and better than other people. If you doodle the same animal time after time, that means you compare yourself to it unconsciously and try to imitate its character.

Squares, diamonds and other geometric figures

You have clearly defined goals and beliefs and rarely keep your opinions to yourself. You are stubborn and insistent. You’re usually overly cautious and careful — I would suggest that you rethink your attitude on this.

Arrows
Arrows symbolize a vector, your direction in life. If the arrow is pointing upwards — you’re a people oriented person, if it points down — you’re self-focused; a leftward arrow means that you’re stuck in the past, and if it points to the right, you look forward to the future.

Stars
You want to be the center of attention; you want all eyes on you when you walk into a room and to turn heads wherever you go, but if the stars you draw have too many points or if they are drawn separately from the center, it could be a sign that you are suffering from depression.

Flowers, clouds and sun
Drawing perky-looking flowers and the sun while talking on the phone indicates that you’re satisfied about what’s going on and probably fantasise about the good things awaiting you in your future. These scribbles reveal your positive attitude and the fact that you are in good spirits.

Crosses
These could mean that you’re feeling guilty over something, or blame yourself for your mistakes. Little houses and boxes Symmetrical shapes reveal your love of order and your disposition to thoroughly plan and calculate things. You know exactly what you want, your life goals are set and you will stand by your opinion no matter what.

Chessboards
It looks like recently you found yourself in a particularly unpleasant and uncomfortable situation. If drawings like these are constantly present, chances are you’re probably dealing with some hidden issues that have something to do with your inability to resolve a particular situation, or you’re trying to find yourself and your mission in life and have doubts about the path you’re on.

Beehive patterns

Your number one priority is to maintain peace and harmony in your life, and you also want to settle down and maybe start a family.

Spirals

Other people’s problems don’t bother you much. In your head, you always solve different problems and think about tasks. Maybe you are a genius?

Circles and rings

Circular shapes represent a need to find unity. ’"I feel left out in this world." That’s what your doodles say about you. If you draw circles unconsciously, this probably means you’re in need of a friend and some attention, which, in the end, may lead to depression, so take care. Or maybe you’re just an introvert who doesn’t need too much communication.

Easy brain excercise to improve concentration

Have you experienced difficulty concentrating in most of the things of your daily life? Or maybe you’re having a tough time remembering things like names of people you meet? On top of things, you are having trouble getting through that long list of things to do. But how do you keep your brain in tip-top shape? Exercise, of course!

Exercise isn’t just for your physical health, it is for your mental health, too. Brain exercises improve memory and brain function, and they can be quick and easy to do.
Below you’ll find 5-minute brain exercise to perform each day to strengthen your brain and improve your memory, concentration and brain function.

5-Minute Head Tapping

When the mind is engaged too intensively with work or with too many thoughts, it’s common for the head to feel overheated. This is caused by lack of good energy and blood circulation. If it continues, thoughts will not cease and your focus level will drop significantly. In this case, try gentle, specific tapping to open energy points on the head. This head tapping exercise will supply oxygen and energy to your brain and clear your mind.

How to Practice Head Tapping:

1. Gently tap your head with your fingers. Breathe out all the active oxygen and heat that has accumulated from the stress. Smiling brightly while tapping will help oxygen flow even better to the brain.

2. On your forehead tap the frontal lobe, which controls memory and thinking skills, and imagine ideas springing from your head.

3. Tap the parietal lobe on the top of your head and imagine that the nerve functions and somatic senses of the parietal lobe are improving.

4. Tap the sides of your head near your ears and imagine your hearing abilities becoming clearer and stronger.

5. Tap the occipital lobe on the back of your head and imagine your vision improving and your eyes becoming clearer.

6. Tap the cerebellum at the bottom of the back of your head and imagine your athletic and hand-eye coordination and sense of balance improving.

7. Tap all around your head once again and then sweep your head with the palms of your hands; your brain will feel refreshed!

Blood supply is extremely important to the brain since it carries the oxygen essential for healthy neuron activity. If there is energy stagnation, however, the brain’s blood circulation can be hindered; the majority of intractable brain diseases, such as cerebral hemorrhage, apoplectic dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s, are due to a lack of blood circulation in the brain and a corresponding loss of neurons.

4 amazing ways to practice positive thinking

Having trouble in positive thinking? Here are some ways to practice positive thinking.

1. Create Awareness: Listen to patterns, triggers, beliefs that create those negative thoughts. Get an understanding when those negative thoughts appear and identify the exact moment where those beliefs were created.
Ask Yourself: How true are these negative thoughts? Where do those negative thoughts come from?

2. Change your thoughts: After you created awareness around your negative self-talk, start changing the message and words into a more powerful, positive message. Change 'problems' to 'solutions'. Change 'I will try to do ...' to 'I will do it!'. Ask Yourself: What would be a more positive thought?

3. Journaling: It helps to understand and identify where those negative patterns or beliefs come from. Ask Yourself: What disempowering thoughts and feelings am I having?

4. Check your environment: Most negative thoughts, beliefs or patterns we pick up because of our surrounding. Negative people, news, Social Media, hobbies, certain times and places contribute to your negative self-talk.
Ask Yourself: How willing are you to make a change to talk in a way that’s helpful rather than harmful?

7 signs to know that your chakra are blocked

Aligning the chakras is usually a matter of being mindful and present to the way energy moves through our body.

Chakra 1- Root chakra

You’re blocked by fear: A clear sign that your root chakra is blocked when you experience a strong sense of fear and paranoia along with the feeling of disconnection and imbalance.
To unblock this chakra- Embrace your fear. Surrender to it. Tenderly wrestle it through your mindful breath work (inhale). Then let it go (exhale). Slowly dissolve the anxiety associated with it. Eventually you’ll be able to transform fear into courage.

Chakra 2- Sacral chakra

You’re blocked by guilt: A clear sign that your sacral chakra is blocked is an overwhelming feeling of guilt and self-blame along with the threatening feeling that you will never feel pleasure again. Guilt is a bugger of an emotion. It hangs around like a thorn in the side. It forces us to look backward into the shattered mirror of regret.
To unblock this chakra-  Allow yourself to become vulnerable enough to forgive yourself. Sincerely forgive yourself. Fearlessly forgive yourself. Give up all hope for a better past. Be fluid. This chakra is also known as the water chakra. Allow yourself to feel pleasure despite the pain. Embrace the moment and allow your mindful breath to wash over you in loving forgiveness.

Chakra 3 - Solar Plexus

You are blocked by shame: A clear sign that your solar plexus chakra is blocked is a crushing feeling of shame and humiliation accompanied with an overwhelming sense of insecurity and self-doubt. Shame is very difficult to resolve, because a little shame is necessary to keep us humble and unassuming. The same can be said for insecurity and self-doubt. These are all healthy in tiny doses. But when we feel unworthy and our self-esteem is so low it becomes a crippling thing.
To unblock this chakra- Mindfully engaging the fire of whatever it is that keeps you passionate and enthusiastic about life. Another name for this chakra is the fire chakra. Dance with your shame in the in the fire. Let it burn your shame. Let it burn you. Let it burn your insecurity and self-doubt into manageable ashes.

Chakra 4- Heart chakra

You’re blocked by grief: A clear sign that your heart chakra is blocked is a profound feeling of grief and coupled with a miserable feeling of apathy. This is usually due to love lost, a death in the family, unmet expectations, and/or an inability to let go of the ego’s attachment to love. We experience a lack of empathy on the emotional level, and a lack of openness and flexibility on the spiritual level. We have trouble loving ourselves and we become afraid to be vulnerable with others. Another name for this chakra is the air chakra.
To unblock this chakra- Breathe in love. Breathe out love lost. Imagine your heart breaking into a million little pieces (exhale), and then imagine it coming back together again, stronger than before (inhale). Feel the pain. Suffer the broken heart. Be with the grief. Then let it all go with a loving exhalation and let the healing forces of the universe spill through the cracks.

Chakra 5 Throat chakra

You’re blocked by lies: A clear sign that your throat chakra is blocked is a closed-in feeling of inauthenticity and dishonesty coupled with claustrophobic feelings of insecurity and anxiousness. Many people experience closed throat chakras, that’s because the majority of us live with deception and lies. As a result, we’re often lying to ourselves without even realizing it and we’re unable to be honest with ourselves or genuine with others. We experience poor communication with ourselves, with others and with the greater cosmos. Another name for this chakra is the sound chakra.
To unblock this chakra- Mindfully break down reality as you know it. Then surrender to no-mind and engage reality as you feel it. With enough mindful/no-mind meditation coupled with self-interrogation meditation centered on the throat chakra, feelings of anxiousness, restrictedness and claustrophobia will melt away into harmony, openness and honest connection with the cosmos.

Chakra 6 Third eye

You’re blocked by illusion: A clear sign that your third eye chakra is blocked is a strong feeling of dissociation, like you’re living in a dream world, coupled with poor intuition and a weak sense of identity. We are conditioned to view the world as separate from us. But the illusion of separation is the greatest illusion of all. Everything is connected to everything else. Yet when we’re blocked to this deep understanding, we’re under the impression that the self (ego) is in opposition with the world (soul). When really, self and world, ego and soul, are all connected. Another name for this chakra is the light chakra.
To unblock this chakra- Imagine your breath as light work. Visualize the bright light of your third eye, looking down on all things. You are all things (world) and all things are you (self). Visualize the bright light of your third eye, looking down on all things. Breathe out (your pupil is the sun). Breathe in (your pupil is the moon). You are all things (world) and all things are you (self).

Chakra 7 Crown chakra

You’re blocked by attachment: A clear sign that your crown chakra is blocked is a feeling of disconnection between mind, body, and soul. This is the most difficult to open. Even once opened, it is the most difficult to keep open, or to reopen.
To unblock this chakra- Constantly let go of each passing moment. Breathe in that moment; breathe out this moment. It’s all a loving fantasy. Surrender to divine union and cosmic love (then let it go), stretching out forever (and never).

6 Scientific reasons why you should wake up early

Waking up early is no easy task. There are almost no limits to the positive things waking early can do for your mind and body.

6 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD WAKE UP EARLY EVERY MORNING

1. THERE’S PEACE, QUIET, AND SILENCE

When you wake up early, you’re up before the rest of the world is. There are no sounds of honking horns, music or loud voices. You have this moment to really hear your thoughts. Wake up early and read a book or simply sit in silence. Look out the window and admire the world, or use the time to meditate. Silent moments are actually highly beneficial for the brain and body. They help to: ●Increase oxygen levels in the brain
●Reduce blood pressure
●Lessen migraines
●Boost mental health

2. YOU’LL HAVE BETTER BODY & BRAIN FUNCTION

If you’re feeling dizzy or fatigued throughout the day, you might need to start getting up early. People who wake up earlier enjoy better critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They tend to be more creative, funnier and experience boost in concentration and memory.
Here’s an idea of what happens in deep sleep cycles:
●Increased blood supply in muscles
●Tissue repairBone repair
●Cellular corrections
●Release of growth hormones to build muscle ●Lowered blood pressure
●Relaxation of the boidy

3. THERE’S A CHANCE IT’LL MAKE YOU MORE ATTRACTIVE

If you want to improve your appearance, you should sleep and wake up early. The more tired you appear, the less attractive you’ll be perceived. There’s another factor that the first few morning hours are so important, people who wake up early are likely to have lower body mass indices. if you’re aiming to burn fat, waking up early may be the way to go.

4. WAKING UP EARLY HAS LINKS TO GOOD GRADES

Many students study in late hours but reversing this and starting to wake up early can actually be better for good marks. This is due to better time management, but it can also be because early risers tend to have better concentration.

5. YOU’RE MORE PRODUCTIVE WHEN YOU WAKE UP EARLY

Those who wake up early also tend to be more persistent than others, so they are more determined to complete tasks. Here are some of the other ways being an early riser can boost your overall productivity:
●Your brain is recharged
●You start your day with less distractions
●You have more energy for tasks
●You’ll be in a better mood

6. YOUR MENTAL HEALTH AND POSITIVE THINKING WILL SOAR

Waking up early does you a lot of benefits, but the largest is probably on mental health. Sleeping too much by not waking up early can even put you at a higher risk for developing depression. The same goes for other mental illnesses and disorders. If you find yourself lying awake at night with bad thoughts are taking charge in your head, it may be time to readjust your sleeping patterns. Waking up early – and therefore sleeping earlier daily – can provide the relief you need.

4 Special Ways to Practice Gratitude Every day

We all have little moments that we may be subconsciously thankful for, but we rarely fully acknowledge. If you take the time to acknowledge these little things by practicing gratitude, you’ll feel more peace and joy. Practicing gratitude can have a huge impact on your overall happiness and you can do it in several different ways.

1.) Start an appreciation calendar.

Take a traditional hanging calendar or a planner, but just be sure that you have enough space on each day to write five things for which you are grateful. A calendar is a great format for appreciation because you can see every little thing that brings you gratefulness during an entire month.

2.) Write a handwritten letter.

Write a letter by hand to someone who you have never properly thanked. Take the time to write a true, heartfelt letter to one of these people. Let them know how your life has been changed because of their presence in it and express true thankfulness.

3. Turn gossiping sessions into gratefulness sessions.

When you meet your friends, instead of gossips or complaints, make an effort to share the positive highlights of your week. This gives you the opportunities to voice gratefulness and celebrate the good things together.

4. Think of everything as a gift.

One great way to transform the seemingly small parts of life into opportunities for gratitude is to frame everything as a gift. Rather than thinking of your morning cup of coffee as just a cup of coffee, think of it as a gift of coffee. Once you change your language surrounding the smaller parts of your day, the gratitude and joy will follow.
