The theory of mind

Do you know which part of brain is involved in negative self talk & fear?  Negative self talks come from right brain and memory bank. When a person is in fear, his  most primitive part of brain that is right prefrontal lobe gets activate. Then brain searches memory bank and involves into self sabotage and negative talk. These thoughts shuts down motivational circuits and safety circuit is on. This situation leads you to INACTION. That's why you cannot take right decision, when you are under some fear. The theory of mind says that there are two systems of physical body.
1.) Sympathetic Nervous System  (SNS)
2.) Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS)

Brain’s no.1 priority is safety. When we face some danger like situation or some fear, our SNS takes up the charge and goes into flight or fight mode. In that situation, you need to switch on your PNS. Parasympathetic nervous system gets activated in relaxed and calm state or when you are imagining about your dreams. By practising meditation, mindfulness and focusing on breathing pattern you turn off SNS state. Six breaths in a minute will turn on your PNS mode. Shift your thinking. Keep working on yourself to raise your motivational circuits. I often say to people who have deep fear," Please begin to resolve your issues now, when it is relatively easy. Don't wait until you are under the threat of some seroius physical disease." Stop hanging around with people who are stuck and don't want to grow. Stop being with them

  1. Good one. But more clarification regarding PNS required.

    1. Thankyou Deepak Sir. The PNS works in conjunction with the SNS in order to maintain homeostasis in the body. For example, during a fight or flight response, the SNS increases heart rate and blood pressure. Afterward, the PNS works to slow the heart rate down and lower blood pressure. It also starts up bodily processes that were temporarily put on hold when the SNS was activated, such as digestion.
